The other day I stopped at a light next to a beautiful Corvette. I sat and admired this wonderful example of racing engineering, then was greatly surprised by the next action.
While he was at the light, the Vette's owner rolled down the driver's window reached out with a squeegee, and used the hand squeegee to clear his view in the windshield.
The beautiful, expensive Corvette had no working windshield wipers. Without wipers, the entire vehicle was driving at risk.
Do I spend my time and money on some things and yet neglect or ignore the most valuable things?
