RIGHT IN MY EYES? I drove my granddaughter to school one day, and encountered something rather curious.  At the driveway were two students waving "please drive ahead" signs.  They were obviously there to assist with the congestion during the crucial minutes just before school opened.  The cars were backed up all the way out of the parking lot and down the street, yet parent after parent ignored the signs, stopped their vehicles and dropped their kids right at the corner, with a line of cars backed up around the corner behind them.  Had they pulled forward as directed by the sign-wielding kids, then everyone would have been able to unload quickeer and with less drama.
